Managed woodland highly commended by Scottish Awards

Abriachan Forest Trust, one of our clients has just been Highly Commended in the Scotland's Finest Woodlands Awards Competition. This category is for special achievements as it marks the 100th anniversary of the Forestry Act from 1919.
Sylvestrus Ltd. is delighted for Abriachan Forest Trust to have achieved this award with heavy competition. Abriachan as a community woodland has limited resources. But with the inspiration from local people and the many hours/resources put into the project by directors/ local people and volunteers this woodland has been transformed from an even aged plantation to a true multi purpose woodland. It produces timber, wildlife habitats, recreation and acts as a great outdoor learning centre.
Sylvestrus Ltd. is humbled to have contributed to the community project for over 15 years.
